I have successfully merged all my old Blogger blogs into one big blog now for this domain name. Every phase of humour, eccentricity, fear, uncertainty and doubt has been indexed for all to see. No longer is everything under different blogs depending on my mood or if I feel I haven't posted anything for long a while.
Much better. Going to check everything is here and then delete it.

The Wii is more mightier than the PS3
So, my laptop is supposedly being fixed, right? I've found myself forced to find other ways to get the internet. Today I found out the Wii's browser is superior to the PS3's. Nice one Nintendo!

You are in MY Domain...
Welcome to my domain...well, should I say domain name. To be honest, I'm not sure why I bought this domain name, I guess it was there. In recent weeks I have discovered finding an ideal website name is near impossible and you grab them when you can, I've found that 'Inappropriate Banjo' has some significant link to me. I've bought it for 2 years and intend to keep it. I am happy for this to be my personal webpage, away from any preinc work, maybe even diverting from uni MA work.
Right now the domain name directs to my new spangly blog, maybe great things will come out of this, maybe the domain name will form in a beautiful, eccentric website for yours truly. Either way, I have my personal website now, possibly one of the most random, eccentric website titles in history and you know what, I don't care. 'inappropriate Banjo' is totally marketable, it's stupid and it's controversial, why is the banjo inappropriate? Why the hell not.
Anyway, heres to my little portion of the internet, 'inappropriatebanjo.com'.
Cheers.

"We are...Nin,ten.doh..."
Trawling across the internet, I found this demonic piece of advertising. I'm no genius at branding or advertising, far from it but how the hell do you think this advert is appropriate?
What the hell was Nintendo thinking? At least we know where Playstation's 'scare tactics' (Chris Cunningham) ads of the 90's come from.
"YOU, WILL, NOT, BEAT, US"

First!
This is the first post of this brand new intended blog. Each blog I end up creating, I consider to be an different era (like the movements of Picasso), my past life etc, I try to ignore what happened previously and just move onto a whole new level of thinking. I feel every now and then, because my situations and intentions have changed sometimes it makes sense to make a new blog.
As of now I am a postgraduate BA hons Animation student, I am going into an MA course in the same field in a few upcoming weeks. I am also involved in a preinc scheme and that is a company bulit upon a few friends who we are very sure are very capable of working together due to previous experience in the field which has been named 'Monsterfox'. Obviously all of this is very exciting and will undoubtedly be a whole new venture and experience, at the same time I will be multitasking the preinc, MA and part time job (the last one is in the process of 'looking for'). One does wonder how I will have time on my own, but in this period, I think it's worth it. Sometimes you have to take a gamble or two.
Anyway, I have started writing this blog very much like a diary and it will voice concerns, but won't directly refer to anyone (obviously because this is the internet). This blog should hopefully reflect my interests in an easy condensed way. It may look bare, but if I can keep up with everything I feel this blog will be a great thing to look upon in the near future.

Words I believe I invented.
Well, I figure I've done my part for the community/world; without particularly being noticed for it.
Thats right.
I claim I invented the widespread internet used words;
Megative
Awesomic
Boredomity
To be bored for what appears to be eternity.
Frekerized
Anything created/thought of/pondered by ME.
Do I have proof for this? maybe so.
http://www.freewebs.com/freker/
A site I used to use back in the summer of 2005 when I was at college, before either the new series of Doctor Who begun or the Hitchhikers Guide film was made...
Note the used words; 'Awesomicly frekerized'.
http://freker.livejournal.com/
Distinct use of 'Boredomity' on front page, awesomic further down. Made to replace Freeweb site.
Also for those lucky enough to use Live Spaces and know me
http://frekerized.spaces.live.com/
Compared to the other dates of the words in Google, my word mentions are about the most clearly used and earliest dated.
Now with this page, Google should bring it up as a top result too. Let the whole world know!
Take that Internet!

- The opposite of Negative
- Can also be used as Megatively
Awesomic
- Awesome, but also sonic.
- Something awesome happening fast.

Mission Trying to Draw Differently
Over the last few years, I've noticed, I've developed some BAD habits with my current drawing style. It wasn't until reading Scott McCloud's 'Making Comics' that I realised this.
Also, I've created a sudden love for the artwork of Bruce Timm and Shane Glines. They both worked for DC and Warner Brothers as character designers. Their work is brilliant and instantly recognisible. My theory is, if I'm to be an animator, then I must immitate other peoples styles because I must do as it will be my job in the future.
But also, I want to develop a much more improved style than I currently use. It wasn't until looking through my portfolio and storyboards for uni that I realised I stick to a 'safe' template for character design. I don't want to do that anymore, I want to loosen up.
I've had a few ideas for series and developed a few ideas that were tucked away in my head. However, they all need varied styles. So, the quest moves on to attempt to develop a new trademark style that blends in with the current artistic style of animation these days.
Anyway, any doodles which I think are successful I will post on the MTTDD blog which link can be found here.

Cloverfield; The Game Possibilities
Well, weeks ago, I saw Cloverfield. It was amazing, just yesterday I saw Rambo, that was also quite amazing. Ten minutes ago I played Crisis Zone which was also quite good.
HOWEVER;
Cloverfield+Rambo+Time Crisis= Wow.
Now, just in deeper detail, those of you who have seen Cloverfield...(and those who have the misfortune to come across this blog)
I'd just like to talk on my theory how Cloverfield would be an awesome lightgun game.
Now, if you've seen Cloverfield, the main genius is that it is based on the fact that the government is rewatching recorded video evidence evidence for the case designated; Cloverfield.
Basically, something colossal, starts destroying New York in the old Godzilla charm but actually made as if it was real and happening.
Now, people have talked about a Cloverfield game, but constantly talk about the 'lack of plot' (which is rubbish IMO)
Now, take the fancy camera angles of Cloverfield (with the handi-cam feel) and shove that into a Time Crisis like gameplay.
And basically you would get a fictional game called 'Cloverfield: Operation Hammer Down'
Make the levels separate recorded tapes off of the army's headsets all managing to figure out weaknesses with the creature and the 'offspring'. Some soldiers you will play as will die, some will survive, or some the helmet would just be found during the aftermath. Maybe, clues should be left in the behavior of the soldiers head twisting or crazy, shellshocked whispers as the camera bobs and occasionally distorts the picture whilst you try to shoot something. Maybe some could defy his own orders and actually get involved with saving the public or running towards his own family.
I'm no game designer, but this is an awesome idea IMO. The film Cloverfield is basically a 'Film on Rails'; telling the story from one perspective. A Rail shooter would be perfect; on the internet, others have said that a FPS or a strategy would work, no, Cloverfield is MADE to be the most awesome next-gen rail shooter in videogame history.
For a basic idea of what I'm on about; Watch the above clip and imagine blended with the crazy military scenes from Cloverfield. Or, like, watch the clip below (But, y'know...only if you've seen the movie)
I mean, come on, there could even be a section where you briefly see 4 people dodging and running past cars whilst one holds a camcorder.
This could be very awesome. Maybe one of the best film licenced (minus Lego) games, ever.

The Matrix has my PS3
Ah, yeah. My PS3.
This week I bought a copy of the film 'Operation Condor' one of the most funniest Jackie Chan films I have ever seen. Looking forward to finally owning a copy of it, I put it in my PS3.
And everything went green. Thats right, that green like from The Matrix. Obviously, some problem with the scart lead as if I pushed it down a bit, I would get the right colours, then lose the sound and next of all; It went blue and red with odd purple at the background.
There seems to be some obvious error in DVDs being played on PS3 and I hope it gets solved soon. Of course, this would make watching The Matrix trilogy a lot more involving.
